The Department of Mathematics at 天美传媒 is a cross-disciplinary academic unit committed to excellence in mathematics education, primarily within the programs offered by the School of Engineering. It also plays a prominent role in key academic offerings such as the Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics, the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computing, the Master’s Degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics, the Master’s Degree in Industrial Mathematics, and the PhD Program in Mathematical Engineering.
The Department’s research stands out for its international impact and strong interdisciplinary orientation, ranging from the development of fundamental mathematical knowledge to its application in other fields such as Physics, Biology, and related sciences. Research activities are organized around six official research groups: the (GAMA), the Differential Equations and Applications Group (GEDA), the Applied Mathematics to Control, Signals and Systems Group (GMACSS), the (GISC), the (GNMA), and the (MNSIM).
