On Monday, September 23nd Guillermo Carpintero (TERA6G Project coordinator) will be sesión chair for the session M3F, Sensing and Microwave Photonics in the European Conference of Optical Communications ().
In this session, TERA6G partner LioniX International will present the invited paper “Hybrid Integrated Microwave Photonics for Multi- Beam Antenna applications” by Chris Roeloffzen; Paul van Dijk; Peter Maat; Ilka Visscher; Marcel Hoekman; Lennart Wevers; Edwin Klein; Roelof Bernardus Timens; Charoula Mitsolidou; Ahmad Mohammad; Robert Grootjans; Furkan 艦ahin; Roel Botter; Carlos Ruiz Pineda; Rick Heuvink; Ronald Dekker. The paper presents a hybrid integrated microwave photonic (iMWP) chip platform where Si3N4-based-TriPleX® and InP optical waveguides are combined to enable broadband and high frequency radio signal pro-cessing. A multi-beam iMWP beamformer for phased array antenna systems is fabricated and characterized.
